it's time to quit..

Posted in Group:

Hello i'm new to this supportgroup thing. i don't know much to say but i've decided to quit smoking mj. i started when i was 17, my best friend and her brother got me into it and ever since then i've been hooked. it's only been about a year and half. but it's starting to screw with my body and mind. My Boyfriend, the loving guy he is, told me about all the little problems that come with and is helping me to stop. so that's how i got here.
well i guess i've been off for 3 days so far, no symptoms or anything, i feel pretty good. but i've tried to quit a couple times before and i start to get depression and this weird feeling in my chest sometimes like my hearts skipping or something. i don't know. but so far so good :) i guess i'm just looking for support, anything i should look out for? even though i've pretty much been informed on alot of it. i'd like to hear your opinion anyways :)
things do feel pretty empty sometimes without it, like when i'm sitting around and i start to think how much fun it would be if i had some to smoke, then go play video games like i use to. cause you just get lost in the game and life just kinda fades. those were the good times and what brings me back into doing it.and of course doing with friends it's fun, and you wanna fit in, or just want to smoke all together. so far my urges for it haven't been coming back like they use to, probably cause i'm serious about quitting.
but that's all i have to say, thanks for reading and i wish luck to all those out there who are tyring to quit.

It is a very good decision to quit smoking. Later on, you will be glad that you did. Wishing you all well. God bless you.
