hurting

Posted in Group:

new to this hopefully something good comes out of it. Both of my parents smoked pot growing up. i didnt know exactly what it was but i knew it was a secret and it made them feel better. then when i got older and learned what this stuff my mom and dad hide in their closests to feel better was weed at first i HATED it. i vowed to myself ill never smoke ever. then my parents divorced when i was 14. things were tough. i thought if it made them feel better why not try it so shortly after their very bitter divorce i tried it and liked it. Not until i was about 16 did i smoke regularly. then everyday. then every few hours. then i just always wanted to be high. Ive been through alot and i always go back to what i know will not cure it but help for a little bit. im 23 now and struggling. my boyfriend and i broke up so im back home with my mom and im just sad and lonely. and i just cant seem to get high enough to make the pain go away. i still hurt even after i smoke. but i cant stop.

You can stop, the only one thing is that you have to make this decision. It takes time, patience and determination, you can do it. Wishing you well. God bless you.

I'm new also. But you have to want to quit, you have to give yourself the motivation to quit. it is hard, but you can do it :) just think of how much better your life would be without it.

I do think all the time how much better my life would be without it. I cant wait for the day that i feel free from this and live in the real world. thanks for ur support
